In the morning we will meet at your hotel and embark on a private full-day adventure from Bucharest, blending legends, royalty, and recent communism past.
First, visit Snagov Palace, where the Ceausescus fled during the 1989 Revolution, and their lavish lakeside residence (available for visit only Monday-Thursday). Nearby, discover the mysterious Snagov Monastery—rumoured burial site of Dracula himself.
Then journey to Târgoviște to visit the military base where the Ceausescus were tried and executed in December 1989, and the Princely Court—Dracula’s former stronghold and the first capital of Wallachia.
After a lunch break in an iconic restaurant, continue to the stunning Brâncoveanu Palace in Potlogi, a masterpiece of Neo-Romanian architecture and home to the dramatic story of one of Romania’s wealthiest rulers.
In the afternoon we will drive back to your hotel in Bucharest.
Please note the entrance in Snagov Palace is conditioned by the day of the week (available only Monday-Thursday) and by the possibility of the place to be rented for private events. To be confirmed upon the booking of the tour. Please note the entrance fee is not included in the cost of the tour; it will be paid directly there, and only cash accepted.
